About
I care a great deal about my clients and want your therapy to be a healing experience. Self-reflection can be emotionally upsetting when past events and their associated primal wounds are uncovered. We will work through these darker moments at a pace that you feel comfortable with. Relationships impact us, often times more than we realize. Many of our earliest relationships still influence us today in ways that are detrimental to our current relationships. Our work together may help you relearn ways of relating to others and to yourself in more compassionate ways.
Psychotherapy can lead to profound insight, increased self-awareness, and improvements in relationships with the overall outcome of your work possibly leading to a feeling of greater contentment in life. I have worked with individuals struggling to overcome addiction, trauma, depression, grief & loss, and LGBT issues.
Working in the corporate world for 15+ years equips me with understanding the unspoken pressures placed on us by society to "perform". I am currently a doctoral candidate at Pacifica Graduate Institute pursuing a PhD in Depth Psychotherapy, and have an MA in Counseling Psychology, and an MS in Geospatial Engineering.
