I see therapy as a collaborative journey towards helping you achieve the well-being that you seek. In treatment, my aim is to help you discover your true self, build coping skills, and successfully navigate life stressors. I create a safe and supportive environment for our work together, and I work with you to form a personalized plan based on your learning style and personality. My approach draws from different theoretical orientations including cognitive-behavioral, insight-driven, positive psychology, solution focused, and motivational interviewing.
I offer individual therapy for adults for a wide range of concerns including, anxiety, depression, inattention, interpersonal challenges, self-esteem, and life transitions. My areas of interest include identity development, multicultural issues, recovery from substances, psychological and neuropsychological assessment.
I can speak limited Cantonese. I am at my Brookline office on Tuesday and Saturday mornings.
