I am a licensed marriage and therapist, qualified supervisor for MFT/MHC and certified substance abuse professional who is experienced in trauma (sexual abuse) counseling, couples counseling, women issues, substance abuse counseling/assessments and Christian counseling. In addition to being a licensed therapist I am an ordained pastor for over 20 years. My belief are relationships are a system of interconnection and those relationships can have an effect on other aspects of an individual's personal life such as; school, spiritual-growth, personal relationships. and family.
When individuals find themselves stuck in cycle of "more of the same" within various types of relationships I work with them to find preferred solutions that would assist them in "doing something different." I work with women, children, couples and families. My therapeutic practice revolves around a personal, collaborative therapeutic relationship.
I specialize in Narrative, Collaborative, and Solution Focused Therapy therapeutic approach, as well as Christian counseling. I believe my clients are the expert of their own lives and problems do not reside within the individual, but rather in relation to how the person is coping with relational stressors.
