I am a part of the Help and Hope Counseling team and a Licensed Master's Level Social Worker working toward independent licensure. This journey is all about you and I am here to guide you with your goals. I specialize in supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, anxiety, and the unique challenges of neurodivergent children (ages 7-11) and their families using neurodivergent-affirming framework. I am also person-centered therapist and can meet your spiritual needs (including biblical wisdom upon request). I offer services both virtually and in person (Sundays bi-weekly in Mesa).
I earned my undergraduate degree at Kansas University, my Master’s from Park University with a focus in Behavioral Health and Military Social Work. I also earned my Post-Graduate certification in Play Therapy from MNU in Olathe, Kansas and currently pursing the Registered Play Therapist (Stage 2). I am a certified grief facilitator I have worked in Hospice.
Therapy doesn’t have to be stuffy or serious all the time. I bring in creative, out-of-the-box approaches (IFS, Play Therapy and DBT-C) to help you get past the walls that may be holding you back.
