I am an experienced psychotherapist who enjoys working with clients who are motivated to make positive changes in their life. I use a client centered approach to help clients feel comfortable enough to be able to work through their issues. I also use a strength based approach when working with clients, to help clients find the strength within themselves to make the positive changes they desire. I strongly believe that the relationship between client and counselor is vital to bring about positive change.
I am dually licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), I have a strong passion in helping those who are struggling with facing disease and/or life transitions. I have gained much experience and competence throughout the years working in the treatment of addictions, trauma, abuse, anxiety and depression.
I am trained in CBT, DBT, EFT, Play Therapy and EMDR. I have 4 years of experience working at a chemical dependency treatment center and 2 years working at an emergency setting at a hospital, in which I gained much knowledge and experience. I have 19 years of experience working as a therapist in Billings, Montana.
