About
Angela is a licensed psychotherapist with 20 years of experience. She is honored to work with people of all ages to reduce conflict and deepen relationships. Angela believes that relationships provide a path for growth and that her job as a psychotherapist is to help people develop healthy, generative relationships with themselves, their families and their communities. She helps her clients untie knots that get them stuck and helps move them confidently through times of transition, loss, relationship conflict, and life challenges that are difficult to solve on their own.
Angela holds a master’s degree from Bryn Mawr College of Social Work and Social Research and is a graduate of the Philadelphia Psychoanalytic Adult and Child Psychotherapy programs, where she also teaches. She employs psychodynamic therapy, trauma informed treatment, mindfulness and aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy.
“What differientates me from other mental health professionals is my ability to help people feel deeply understood.” In her view, psychotherapy’s a collaborative and creative process. It can be brief or extensive, depending on the client's goals and the complexity of the issues.
