I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with teens, adults, couples and families. I provide a safe and supportive environment for you to explore and understand your own unique experience. I bring a compassionate and authentic perspective, and value therapy as a collaborative process. In partnership with me, you will identify and develop strengths, explore and understand challenges, increase self-acceptance and accomplish goals at your own pace.
My theoretical approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, narrative therapy and strength-based approaches. I have also trained in providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and am in the process of becoming EMDR certified.
