My understanding of how overwhelming therapy can be for some, and my empathy and listening skills can help put my clients at ease. I utilize a collaborative approach as you are the best expert on you! Sessions are a warm and trusted place to be. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy and often seek training in other modalities. My therapeutic orientations are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered, Play Therapy, and Sand Tray. I've also been trained in EMDR, Neurofeedback, and Prepare and Enrich (a premarital and marriage assessment), so I know how to do these things, too.
Empathy and active listening skills are my greatest strengths. I am a positive and empathetic person who works well with children, adolescents, and adults.
