Welcome! My name is Angela and I am the owner of Cultivating Joy Counseling, a new private practice located in Shenandoah. I specialize in working with adults and teens who are going through difficult times in their lives- situations like depression, serious illness, and loss. What I love about my work is walking alongside my clients and helping them learn how to cultivate joy and find hope in the midst of those dark times.

The most important part of therapy is the relationship between counselor and client. My goal is to provide you with a safe, comfortable space where you can be yourself. I believe that every person is a unique individual and therapy should reflect that uniqueness. I strive for each therapy session to be tailored to you: your goals, your needs, your wants.
