I am so grateful that you have found my page, and that you are feeling ready to continue or start your healing journey. I am currently practicing at The Family Center in Baldwinsville, and remotely in my own private practice. I believe that there is no right or wrong way to show up in YOUR therapy space, and that therapy starts with where the client is. Whether that is starting therapy for the first time, starting again after some time, or anywhere in between. There is no diagnostic criteria that you have to meet to be in therapy - my goal is to help you live your life with the tools you need to conquer what may come.
My education and training was mainly with clients who had experienced and/or were currently experiencing domestic and/or sexual violence. Part of what this means is that I have worked with folks who have experienced CPTSD/PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, BPD, Autism, and more. I enjoy utilizing Internal Family Systems and Narrative theories!
I have worked with a variety of folks in regards to age, race, gender identification, socioeconomic status, spirituality, religion, and sexual orientation. As a white cisgender female, my dedication is to recognize my privilege and intersectionalities with my clients. No client should be fearful of their identity being harmed in their therapy space.
