Angela Hoch
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LGSW, APSW, SAC-IT, MSW
Getting help from a therapist can be a difficult step; finding someone you can relate to, who understands, and who provides help in a straightforward, positive way is important. As a therapist I provide a supportive, honest and compassionate space. I am committed to providing client-centered counseling to individuals, couples, and families. I believe that it is my job as a therapist to help guide my clients in improving their lives a bit each day. I have experience in: Addiction, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Behavior Disorders, Grief, Loss, Mood Disorders, PTSD, Personality Disorders, Self Harm, and Suicide.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma focused work to better understand how your struggles impact how you feel and how you function in different areas of your life (e.g., relationships, academic/work). My hope is that you will gain life skills that continue to be helpful as you face new situations.
I feel honored that my patients allow me to assist them in taking an active role in their treatment and that they feel comfortable sharing their story with me. I look forward to hearing from you and beginning our work together.
