I am passionate about offering encouragement, steps for healing and coping, insight, psychoeducation and interpretation when families are struggling to understand one another. Learning how to navigate life’s courses with sensitivity, kindness and realistic perspective can be more easily undertaken in a therapeutic forum that is accepting and direct. I have a specialization in Crisis/Trauma and focus in ADHD, autism spectrum, ODD and sensory challenges. I also excel at helping families through life transitions, divorce/coparenting therapy, attachment/adoption, reunification work, managing high conflict & court involvement. I’m a registered domestic relations mediator and qualified parenting coordinator.
It is not always easy to begin to let somebody new into the details of a situation you are already finding challenging.
