I specialize in working with children, adolescents and families. I have extensive experience in working with children and families that experience family conflict, lack of effective communication, and behavior challenges. I have experience and am am familiar with students with Individual Education Program's (IEP) and establishing treatment strategies to help them meet their social emotional goals. I I have lead parenting groups and anger management groups to support more effective function for children, adolescents and families. I use evidenced based approaches in my practice and am committed to the overall improvement of functioning with the clients I work with.
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING is right for child/adolescent if: Your child experiences emotional/behavior challenges at home/school, has a mental health diagnosis needing treatment, or has changed in functioning. FAMILY THERAPY is right for your family if: Your family is challenged with communication, family conflict, or inconsistency in parenting practices.
PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING is right if: You are having difficulty understanding or have concerns about your child's cognitive, emotional or behavioral functioning. Your child isn't provided with the right curriculum/assistance. You need clarification about diagnosis, treatment plan, services, or type of program which fit your child's needs.
