My name is Angela Grey, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Cleveland, Ohio, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I have 15 years of experience using EMDR therapy in my everyday practice which has given me a wealth of practical knowledge and skill in its use. Over the years, I have worked extensively with clients with diverse trauma histories, honing my ability to effectively apply EMDR techniques to promote healing and full resolution of past traumas. I also incorporate CBT and DBT skills, along with positive psychology in pursuit of optimal functioning.
If it's evidence-based, it's in my tool kit. I work with adults of any age specializing in the treatment of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I have specific experience working with victims of physical and emotional abuse, narcissistic abuse, and troubled relationships. I provide affirming care for LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals and couples.
I am non-judgmental and have an open and transparent communication style. I really enjoy helping people become their best selves. I was an artist prior to becoming a therapist, and enjoy using creativity and problem-solving to dismantle long-held and limiting, negative beliefs.
