As a trauma-informed therapist, I am passionate about helping my clients shed their burdens and feel more empowered in their lives. I believe each of us has innate healing powers that can become overcome by trauma, leaving us feeling stuck, frozen, or in states of panic. EMDR is a research-based approach that can be combined with other methods to allow old "stuck" memories to become processed, thereby relieving you of unwanted negative thoughts and feelings. I have been honored to witness my clients experience profound transformations using EMDR, and I am excited to now offer EMDR Intensives!
I typically blend EMDR with experiential, somatic, IFS/Parts Work and mindfulness techniques to not only provide you with practical tools to cope with the issues you are experiencing day-to-day, but allow you to fully heal old wounds and to live in the present moment. I use a collaborative, short-term approach to guide us in achieving your goals.
EMDR Intensives can provide clients profound change in a short period of time! We devote 2-3 hours at a time to fully work through stuck memories, accomplishing more than what you would typically expect in weekly 1-hour sessions! I invite you to contact me to learn more.

Groups
Thriving Together: A Therapy Group for Students
This 8-week virtual group is designed to help students cope with college-related stress. Topics for discussion include maintaining healthy relationships with peers and family, dealing with “pressure” culture, preventing burnout, setting boundaries, and managing the transition into young adulthood. This can also be a space for students to process current issues, i.e., the pandemic, racial in/justice, the socio-political climate, etc. Group format will be semi-structured: participants will learn practical mind-body skills while also being able to openly discuss personal experiences in a supportive and safe environment.
