My clients are vulnerable, multifaceted, eager to do the work to heal their struggles, and want to build healthy relationships with their loved ones.
And for some reason, their past is haunting the present moment, or their creativity and self-care has been put on the back burner.
I support clients to build healthy relationships first with themselves and then with their family or chosen family, friends, and community. Who I Work With: Individuals, Couples, Mother/Daughter relationships, Poly/Open Couples, & LGBTQ Folks.

Angela is warm and perceptive. I am also a psychotherapist and a colleague of Angela's. I met Angela at a meeting of the Seattle Counselors Association and was immediately drawn to her light, compassion, and sense of humor. I was seeking a female therapist to co-facilitate a Women's Trauma Recovery group, and Angela seemed to be a good candidate. I am so happy I asked her to collaborate with me. When our clients come to us because they want to do more work on trauma recovery, they are often nervous and reluctant because they do not yet know us. Additionally, trauma work can be very difficult. I have consistently witnessed Angela put our group interviewees at ease and demonstrate an understanding that allows our clients to breathe a sigh of relief. Angela builds optimism in uneasy clients about doing challenging work. Additionally, I confidently make client referrals to Angela for family counseling because of the breadth of her insight about family systems and her passion for this type of work. I find Angela to be a well-rounded therapist and trust that she helps her clients reach their therapy goals.
Angela is a caring and compassionate therapist with practiced skills in serving those suffering for past trauma. She is one of the people I refer to when a member relationship I serve, or friend needs to work through deeply unresolved pain.
I worked with Angela at Seattle Counseling Service, and was also a classmate of hers at Saybrook University. Angela showed grace and empathy for her clients, and took her learning seriously. Angela continues to be a mentor to me, and I cherish this association. Angela is a wonderful, warm, caring and smart therapist. I recommend her highly.
Angela's approach to trauma and relationships is both respectful and humorous. She invites clients to heal from their own strengths, and she is never in doubt about the strengths she sees in them. I refer clients to Angela with confidence in her abilities to help them safely through the healing process.
I have been a colleague of Angela's since 2012. She is a compassionate and caring therapist who values connection and community. She co-facilitates a Women's Trauma Group. She is also passionate about working with the LGBTQ community.
Timi Fair is a dynamic therapist. She is kind, compassionate, funny, and has a wealth of knowledge. As her co-facilitator with the Womens Trauma Recovery Group, I am thankful for the opportunity to collaborate with Timi. She has years of experience working with trauma and substance abuse and it shows. Her knowledge of how symptoms affect our lives is extremely helpful to normalize and move forward in creating beautiful lives. Timis presence in the room is a calming factor that I am often thankful for and her grace at supporting clients in their own process is continually refreshing. Not only is Timi an amazing therapist, she is also an amazing colleague to have in my support network. Timi is non-judgemental, a dependable team player, great at brainstorming, good at finding and sharing resources and able to collaborate with other practitioners.
Jennifer and I have been colleagues for the past 2 years. She has such a good head on her shoulders, I am continually impressed by how she is smart, kind, dependable, and intuitive. She is an expert on LGBTQ struggles and serves her clients with the utmost respect. I recommend Jennifer highly.
I am honored to have Nancy as a colleague. Nancy is trustworthy, honest, and respectful. I worked with Nancy at Seattle Counseling Service and was overjoyed to be able to consult with her on how to care for our clients. Nancy's wonderful sense of humor and delight is a breath of fresh air when addressing disappointment and life's struggles.
