My therapy practice is informed by a wide variety of approaches and techniques aimed at helping people get inspired to realize their goals. My therapeutic approach contains a belief that therapy can be easy!
I am a trained SOMATIC EXPERIENCING and EMDR Practitioner. I am also trained in INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS, and a variety of Cognitive Behavioral approaches.
I infuse these approaches in my relationship based interpersonal approach making therapy feel safe and interesting. The modalities I use introduce people to parts of themselves that have been frozen or stuck in the past. This happens by having a new relationship to one's body, to a younger part of themselves or to protective parts that take over and prevent forward movement or cause relationship difficulties.
You will become more curious, less judgmental and demanding of yourself freeing you to move ahead!
My therapy is INCLUSIVE and FLEXIBLE. I welcome family members and significant others as a part of the therapy process and also offer short term approaches tailored to your needs.
I come with a diverse background in the field of mental health and also adapt my approaches to CHILDREN, ADOLESCENTS and their FAMILIES. I am enthusiastic about the therapeutic process and look forward to hearing from you!
