We all struggle with difficulties in our lives, and most have experienced some sort of trauma (big or small) that has affected our functioning at one time or another. My desire is to help people through these issues so they are able to to switch from surviving mode to thriving mode.
My education and experiences have led me to focus on the following areas in therapy: PTSD/trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Coping, Burnout ... as well as the mood instability and self-esteem issues that often coexist with these difficulties.
I am trained in EMDR therapy, and utilize artistic/creative techniques to enhance its benefits. I offer a safe, comfortable and respectful environment for clients to open up and work towards moving past their "stuck" places.
