I am Angela Diehl, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I utilize primarily a Solution Oriented Approach to Therapy, which is essentially the process of seeking exceptions to the problems presented by clients. I have worked with Individuals, Couples, and Families from Adolescents to Adults. My focuses are Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Substance Use Disorder, Addiction, Infidelity, Family of Origin, Parenting, Communication, Career Related Issues.
My approaches are Brief Therapy, Solution Focused, Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with a communication style that is safe, comfortable, non-judgmental supportive environment with direct communication style.
I first acquired an interest in psychology and therapy while working in a Defense Attorney’s office whose clientele included Juvenile offenders who needed mental health services. I continue to find fulfillment in guiding people in personal development by utilizing healthy coping and communication methods.
