About
My approach to therapy is to meet individuals where they are, help identify what they want to move towards, and then facilitate problem solving ways in which to get there. This can be done in a variety of ways, utilizing various therapeutic techniques; including, but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Interpersonal, Motivational Enhancement, Family Systems, Solution Focused Brief, Family/Marital. I work with each client to develop an individualized plan to help move them towards their goals in a way that makes sense for them.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has been practicing in the field for over seventeen years. I enjoy the privilege of working with people to help them to learn strategies and acquire tools to improve relationships, increase meaningful and fulfilling activity, and achieve success and satisfaction in their lives.
