Most parents who contact me are struggling to find an effective resolution for their child's behavior. Kids may be having difficulty at home and/or school or they may be having trouble managing big feelings & challenging moments that come along with growing up. There may be conflict at home between family members, difficulties with parenting or in the parent-child relationship, or the entire family has been disrupted by a major life change. In any of these circumstances, I am able to identify the root cause of the issues at hand while providing long-term, effective solutions for a successful and happy family life together.
I am a licensed psychologist with a specialty in Marriage & Family Therapy. I conduct child-centered play therapy, EMDR, child parent relationship therapy, and family therapy. These therapies are supported by research & proven to be effective with a range of concerns. I see adults and couples on a case-by-case basis. I offer teletherapy services in AZ & FL.
I currently accept Aetna and Optum/UBH. Many insurance companies will reimburse you if you see out-of-network providers & supply them with a super-bill for services paid. This means you will pay up front and request reimbursement from your insurance company. I am available for appointments on weekday afternoons and evenings for your convenience.

Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT)
Child-Parent Relationship Therapy is a play-based treatment program for young children presenting with behavioral, emotional, social, and attachment concerns. At the heart of CPRT is the premise that a secure parent child relationship is the essential factor for children's well-being. In a supportive group environment, parents learn skills to respond more effectively to their children's emotional and behavioral concerns. CPRT is typically 10 weekly, 2 hour group sessions with 5-8 parents. Learning skills, receiving feedback on skill practice and connecting with other parents for support are the benefits of this group
