My practice is client-driven, meaning that each session is focused only on the client's needs and goals - not on my personal agenda. I want each client to feel as though they are making measurable progress, so all of my clients are involved in creating their own treatment plan. My approach is straight-forward, compassionate, and non-judgmental. My number one desire is to work with each client to achieve peace, happiness, and hope.
I am experienced in CBT, DBT, EMDR and IFS. I work with ages 10 and up. I also work with lots of couples and families. I am a retired 4th and 5th-grade teacher and love working with children and teens. I am certified in EMDR Therapy, and am a Certified IFS counselor, as well. I am also an Assemblies of God pastor.
My ultimate goal for clients is to help them reach their full potential, and to be the best version of themselves that they can be. I have had lots of trials in my life, and I want others to know what I know - that every storm is temporary, and that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
