GROUP OFFERED ON ONGOING BASIS. Many kids struggle with a poor sense of self-esteem or self-confidence. Often this struggle affects their ability to communicate with others, initiate and maintain friendships, or try new things. This weekly group addresses these struggles and provides girls the opportunity to develop a healthier sense of self-esteem, sense of self that they can share with world. Group Goals: 1. DBT Skills Group
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a commonly recommended form of treatment for a variety of presenting problems, from mood disorders, anxiety, relationships struggles, to chronic stress. DBT Skills include: emotion regulation strategies, mindfulness practices, relationship and communication skills, problem-solving and conflict resolution approaches, distress tolerance techniques, as well as a variety of coping and stress management tools. Boys Social Skills Group - Levels 1-3
GROUP OFFERED ON ONGOING BASIS: Many kids struggle with peers for a variety reasons, such as anxiety, behavioral challenges, or difficulties with empathy.
