If you are struggling with the effects of trauma or abuse, have depression or anxiety, substance abuse issues, women’s issues, relationship issues, grief or any other life issues, there is help and hope for you. Life can be hard, but it can also be wonderful. Counseling can help. I have the utmost respect for my clients and the strength it takes to seek help. I really enjoy working with my clients to help them find solutions to problems they are struggling with. I have daytime and evening appointments available for client convenience, and my office is easy to locate and has private parking and private entry available, if needed.
In my counseling practice, I utilize a variety of counseling styles and techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, (EMDR), which has been shown to be an effective treatment for PTSD, trauma, and other issues. I also use traditional “talk therapy” and pride myself on being able to find a style or technique that fits with each client.
It is very important to me that my clients feel safe and comfortable in session, and that they know they can trust me to keep their information confidential and their best interests at heart.
