My primary focus is emotional health and well-being by utilizing the Whole Person Concept. This enables clients to make great stride in personal transformation and gains in self-esteem, improvement in the quality of their life at work, in intimate relationships and with family, friends and overcome social anxiety. By utilizing the bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach and traditional cognitive behavioral therapy in helping to reframe the presenting problem, we discover new possibilities to cope with life stressors. This process may include Jungian psychology, dream analysis, creative visualization, mindfulness meditation and Art.
Since 1988, I have worked in the health and healing profession. I've worked at Canyon Ranch for 18 years, a world-renowned health and healing spa and maintain these certifications: ACE, personal fitness trainer and 500 hour yoga alliance, RYT. I specialize in healthy weight management, increasing motivation, self-esteem, self acceptance and self-care.
I work with adult individuals, groups and on-site locations for work-life balance and the student population at the University of Arizona. I will accommodate patients who need to be seen evenings and some weekends. I am in private practice; my approach is very personal in developing therapeutic trust and safety in a nurturing environment while healing.
