Welcome. My name is Angela Brown and I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Kent, Ohio, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I use a person-centered approach to provide a non-judgmental environment to meet clients where they are at in their mental health journey. My focus areas of practice are depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, and phase of life changes.
My most common approaches to providing therapy are Person-Centered, Solution-focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I will often use an integrated/eclectic approach that is based on a client's specific need to support progress.
During our first meeting, we will identify your expectations for counseling and identify your treatment goals. We can add, remove, or adjust your goals as needed, and we will review your goals periodically to track your progress.
