Hello, I am Angela Alderman-Shotton, LPC (OK 5875). My approach to psychotherapy is warm, welcoming, and intuitive. My areas of focus include; but are not limited to, individuals with mood disorders and career changes, as well as couples who want to improve their connection and communication.
I like to approach psychotherapy sessions with the client's goals and objectives in mind; but also, with room for freedom of expression for my client. I enjoy using Person-Centered, Family Systems approaches, as well as usage of cognitive behavior therapy; existential, including, Christian-based (upon request), when necessitates.
I have treated a variety of age ranges and issues; in my scope of practice of 10 years, and counting. Currently, my focus is adults eighteen and up, who suffer from mood and adjustment disorders /life and career changes, relationship issues, self-worth, as well as couples; who are working to improve their intimacy and communication.
