I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Elizabeth City State University in 2014, and a Master of Social Work degree from Norfolk State University in 2017. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Social Work. I have worked with all age groups in various settings addressing various diagnoses to include depression, anxiety, conduct, adjustment, phase of life concerns and more. My primary theoretical approach is cognitive behavioral. I have worked both in direct care and management roles.
I am also a United States Navy Veteran and understand challenges endemic to this special population. My personal hobbies are reading, singing, and traveling. What you can expect when working with me is unconditional support and authenticity. I also provide supervision for Licensure for LCSW.
With 25+ years of marriage and a commitment to ongoing professional development, I am equipped with the knowledge and skills to support you through your relationship journey. I have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
