My theoretical approach is based on a holistic approach that helps to identify individual personal strengths and resources to develop more effective coping mechanisms to stress and identify solutions that help an individual develop skills that will influence and change behaviors.
The most central ideas in my work are a solution-focused approach that provides supportive counseling to individuals and their families. While we may explore past feelings and history, we will focus on developing skills that support the goals of your therapy and identify effective solutions and coping mechanisms that can assist with moving forward.
In-home consultation is available for established clients and individuals on home hospice and their caregivers. I also provide assistance with Social Security Disability, chronic health conditions, terminal illness and assistance for Veterans and their caregivers, counseling and consultation for Active Duty Military and their families.
