My clients are often dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transition, or questions about sexuality. Many clients have had traumatic life experiences that may include substance abuse, sexual trauma or physical abuse. I work hard to ensure that every client has a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space to share anything that is coming up for them. Most clients show up in counseling because they are tired of the old patterns that they see in themselves or their relationships and they simply want to grow and live more authentic and fulfilling lives.
I will walk along side of you as you gain new insights, address past trauma, create new habits, change the narrative of your past, and start to create the life that you envision. I utilize a psychodynamic approach, integrating internal family systems, narrative, and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and welcome diverse clients.
I would enjoy learning a little bit about you by email or phone. Finding someone you feel comfortable with is the most important thing you can do to ensure your success. I would encourage you to talk to several people before making a choice. An introductory phone call will be fast, easy and free. You have come this far. I encourage you to call me or anyone.
