About
Our quality of life is determined by the quality of our relationships. Whatever your goals may be, change is an inside job, and I'm here to be both a witness and a resource in that complex process. I'm a firm believer in establishing the basics of well-being and then slowly building on that core foundation. When we let go of shame and judgments around emotions, we allow space to cultivate more curiosity, compassion, acceptance, resiliency, and joy. When we utilize mistakes as informational gifts we can strengthen and clarify the authentic self.
As an integrative therapist, I apply a number of evidence-based modalities that I tailor to each individual based on goals and/or presenting life impairments. I offer individual and couples therapy. I welcome children, adolescents, and adults. Uniquely, I also provide conjoint couples sessions alongside my husband.
Finding a therapist can feel daunting and anxiety-provoking. There's a limit to everything we can do alone. Therapy should be a confidential container where you can freely explore your inner and outer worlds without judgment or expectation from a professional unbiased third party, making this dynamic a truly singular relationship.

Andria Colleen Cohen's Groups
Blended Family Process Group
This is the first and only group of its kind offered in Santa Barbara County, supporting individuals and families who are navigating unique challenges associated with co-parenting children of separation and divorce.
Women's and Non-Binary Expressive Arts Group
The intention of this group is to provide a sacred space for women, non-binary folks, and individuals who identify with the LGBTQIA community to come together for support through the modality of expressive arts therapy. We will share various art forms like music and visual art to connect with self and others while exploring gender roles, sexuality, and empowerment in an often oppressive patriarchal society. No experience in art is necessary and beginners are welcome!
