I work with children, teens, and adults whose needs don't fit one category — autism or IDD alongside anxiety and trauma, ADHD tangled with grief, behavior that leaves a whole team confused and exhausted. That overlap isn't my exception; it's my specialty. Families often come to me after other providers have stepped back. My team at Andrews Counseling and Consulting sees children, teens, adults, and families across three NC offices and statewide telehealth — and we help people build support systems that work in real life.
I'm a licensed clinical mental health counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor leading a Joint Commission–accredited agency designed for complex needs. Sessions are practical — focused on what happens at home, school, and in the community. I offer trauma-informed care, including TF-CBT when clinically appropriate, adapted for developmental differences.
