We learn to adapt to our environment early in life. We may then find ourselves "stuck" in these adaptations later in life, trying to gain control over what happened to us. I help those suffering with relationship difficulties, anxiety and depression, complex trauma, and who are seeking deeper knowledge of themselves to break free of old wounds and patterns. Through a psychodynamic and humanistic approach, we will together explore your thoughts, feelings, and relationships with others so that you may build a more fulfilling and freeing life.
I am currently training at the Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas in order to understand and work with individuals on a richer and deeper level. This allows for more profound change in a wide range of areas. Ultimately, your therapy experience is your own, and we will collaborate to find the best specific approach for you.
