About
Not Accepting New Clients - Life before the pandemic was hard enough for so many people. Now there is the additional stress of trying to balance personal safety and engagement with community and support systems. Many people have discovered different parts and sides to themselves since the pandemic started. Some are grappling with newly discovered gender identities or sexual orientations. Others are coming to terms with previously undiagnosed mood or neurodevelopmental disorders. Still more are coping with living in abusive or otherwise disruptive environments. Sometimes we all need help and support, but especially now.
As a clinical social worker I offer a person-centered and identity-first approach. I am Autistic and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am familiar with and have worked with a wide variety of needs including: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Suicidal Ideation, Bullying, and other school related issues. I strive to adapt therapy to each individual.
I understand that therapy may be new experience for you or you may have had negative experiences with therapy in the past. Nevertheless, I strive to be mindful of and responsive to the individual needs of my clients. I am open to feedback and happy to adjust approaches as needed. Please feel free to reach out. I would love to work with you!
