About
I believe that you have unique gifts that are worth discovering and sharing with the world and that identifying with and expressing these gifts will allow you to feel whole and to heal. I believe seeking mental health support, while daunting, is one of the most rewarding, courageous, and healing decisions one can make. I am a licensed psychologist in private practice with doctoral training from UC Berkeley. I am relatable, empathic, validating, and committed to our work. I place tremendous emphasis on our alliance and believe we can learn from each other.
I specialize in a number of issues including relationships, identity, parenting, depression, and anxiety along with the assessment and treatment of learning and developmental disabilities. My therapeutic style is strength-based, culturally sensitive, and trauma informed.
I draw from a balance of depth (e.g., Psychodynamic, Jungian and Attachment), short-term (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and Mindfulness), and evidence-based (e.g., Collaborative Proactive Solutions, CBT, and DBT) modalities in treating children, teens, young adults, and families.
