As individuals traveling through this world, we find that our experiences can be as ugly as they can be beautiful and as challenging as they can be blissful. Navigating our lives can be confusing, scary, and painful. But I believe in an individual's ability to find their own answers, create their own meaning, heal, and even thrive. I view my role as a facilitator of that process. As important as it is to me to incorporate my knowledge of psychology into the therapeutic process, it is equally important to me to simply be a human being in a therapeutic space with another human being.
My approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing mostly from existential, humanistic, and cognitive behavioral approaches. I treat children, teens, and adults, and primarily focus on depression, anxiety, grief, mood disorders, ADD/ADHD, behavioral issues, family issues, self-esteem/self-efficacy, and relationships.
I feel so fortunate to be able to collaborate with individuals in a way that promotes healing and peace. I am passionate about this journey and would love to be a part of yours. Please don't hesitate to reach out to see if we might be a good team in your journey towards greater wellness.
