Are you ready to begin making significant changes in your life? A trained professional can help stand by and guide you; you're not alone. I typically treat depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, adjustment, and relationship issues, but I was educated to work with a broad spectrum of mental health issues. During my training, I received specialized clinical experiences for working with survivors of traumatic events, have felt marginalized by society or their family systems due to their identities, career issues, relationship problems (e.g., loneliness, insecurity, preoccupation, attachment, etc.), and issues with body image and eating.
In my practice, I view the counseling relationship as a central healing element and indicator of change. By building a safe and gentle relational space, we can explore healthy challenges as you work on life goals. I emphasize a non-judgmental, collaborative, active, culturally sensitive, and strength-based approach.
Making the first step to ask for help can be so difficult, particularly in a society that tells us to take care of our own problems. You're not alone, and I see the vulnerability it takes to reach out as a sign of strength and courage. I look forward to walking with you on your path towards healing.
