I find people are far more capable and resilient than they realize. My approach to therapy is collaborative, eclectic and person-centered. Whether the challenge stems from experienced trauma, anxiety, depression or conflict within your relationship, skills can be learned to navigate your life circumstance. Relationships make up the core of who we are as human beings and effort is needed to learn skills to communicate, have healthier conflict resolution or rebuild a relationship (with others and self).
By using evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, IFS, EMDR and Gottman Method, clients feel a sense of empowerment. I specialize in working alongside couples, families and adults with different concerns including trauma anxiety, depression and interpersonal relationships.
I recognize the importance of the therapeutic relationship and understand it can be difficult to initiate therapy. I strive to create an empathetic and safe space where clients feel validated, challenged and respected.
