I utilize Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to help clients identify and dispute problematic beliefs, and re-frame them into productive patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. With REBT, you can learn to reduce and manage your anger, anxiety, depression, guilt, rage, shame, and/or addictive behaviors. We work together to identify and dispute your rigid demands and/or dire needs, and re-frame them into strong, healthy preferences, and your catastrophic thinking into proportionate appraisals of activating events.
I specialize in treating anxiety, anger management, depression, alcohol and substance use disorders, and Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Using a harm reduction approach, we work together to help you find your motivation to change.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I hold licenses to practice in Arizona, Illinois, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah. I received my MSW from Loyola University Chicago School of Social Work in 2012. I previously earned my Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies at Northwestern University in 2004, and worked as an on-air commercial radio host from 2005-2009.
