I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in the Harrisburg, PA area and work with clients statewide via telehealth. I specialize in "helping the helpers"- those experiencing secondary traumatic stress, burnout, and work-related stress. My goal is to help "restore joy" to why they got into the helping field!
I work with those in the "helping professions," such as those in the healthcare fields, social services, education, first responders, last responders, etc., who are struggling with secondary traumatic stress and burnout. I help clients "restore joy" and help them feel more hopeful and optimistic about their future working careers.
My approach to goal setting with clients is working as a team to identify concerns and create strategies to "restore joy" to their work. Initially, the goal is to build rapport and a positive and open working relationship. We will track your progress over time and highlight the positive changes you have made.
