Navigating the challenges of life can easily become overwhelming. Working as a therapist for more than seven years has allowed me to recognize this as a truth for most people. This is why I want to offer my services to help you through whatever it is you may be enduring. I mostly work with adults, individually, on issues such as depression and anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, defining and strengthening boundaries, finding a healthy balance in life, and identifying potential codependency.
As a professional counselor, my approach is person-centered, solution-focused, humanistic, and cognitive based. I was a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor for three years and I've had additional training in mindfulness, cognitive approaches, and motivational interviewing.
My priority is to help you feel as comfortable as possible while sharing some of your deepest thoughts and feelings. Clearly, this is quite challenging for anyone, as it's uncommon to connect with others on this level.
