Andrew is a Resident in Counseling who enjoys working with children (6+), adolescents, and adults. He specializes in working with neurodivergent individuals (especially those with ADHD and ASD), trauma survivors, struggling parents, men facing life challenges, and individuals working on spiritual concerns. He also has experience working with depression and anxiety.
Andrew uses various forms of play therapy with children and adolescents based on the needs of each age group. When working with adolescents, Andrew incorporates more traditional therapy forms such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). For adult clients, Andrew draws from Existential Therapy alongside CBT and ACT.
In addition to his formal training, Andrew draws from a diverse background of experiences, including his undergraduate work in microbiology, his first master’s degree and work as a pastor, his experience as a parent to his own foster and biological children, and learning to thrive with ADHD himself.
