I work with high-functioning individuals who often appear to have things together on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, stuck, or under constant pressure. You may feel alone in ways that are difficult to explain, misunderstood even in close relationships, or aware that something is not quite right but unable to change it. There may be persistent anxiety that does not let up, or patterns that continue despite insight. I work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and addiction, often within demanding lives or complex personal histories. Many are thoughtful and capable, but find that insight alone has not led to

meaningful change. My approach is active and direct. We focus on understanding what is happening, why it continues, and what needs to shift, including patterns that may have once protected you but no longer serve you. Therapy is a process we experience together. We are all recovering from something, and part of the work is understanding what that is for

you and how it continues to shape your life. I have over 25 years of experience across hospital and outpatient settings, including work with co-occurring disorders and longer term psychotherapy. I offer sessions in person in New Canaan and via secure video. I am an out of network provider and can help you understand your benefits.
