Every pre-teen, teen, and young adult deserves a place where they can explore their story and feelings, without judgment or discrediting their experiences. I want to walk alongside the younger members of our community by helping work through issues related to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, negative self-talk, or those struggling to communicate thoughts and feelings in relationships.
I will meet the individual where they are, and together, we will take steps towards unpacking and healing some of the most difficult parts of their story. I want to help them reach their ultimate potential by hearing them when they need a listening ear, challenging them when they need to be held accountable, and pushing them when they need to be encouraged.
My background includes working as a teacher, school counselor, dean, and assistant principal at all 3 levels. I am pursuing a master’s from Purdue University in Mental Health Counseling, with plans to complete my studies in December 2024. When ready, I am here to help them move from trauma to healing, shame to self-compassion, and anxiety to freedom.
