This is why I have been personally practicing meditation for over 15 years, earned a certification in the therapeutic use of mindfulness, and dedicated my private practice to the powerful combination of mindfulness meditation and psychotherapy.
The approach I use is simple, effective, and even enjoyable as it is customized to your specific needs.
By learning and practicing meditation you can regularly elicit the relaxation response (the opposite of the stress response which modern living seems to be so well set up to produce), and give your mind and body and nervous system of fighting chance and take your physical and mental health into your own hands.
