Therapy doesn’t have to feel like a test—or some formal, awkward thing where you sit on a couch and try to say the “right” thing. That’s not how I work. I offer a space that’s thoughtful, collaborative, and actually feels authentic—where you can talk like a real person. I take the work seriously, but not myself—and yes, humor is allowed. I work with adults and teens, especially LGBTQ folks, creatives, and people in the arts or entertainment world. Most of my clients are millennials or Gen Z navigating anxiety, identity questions, trauma, disordered eating, burnout, or trying to unlearn the weird messages they’ve picked up over time.
My approach is direct, curious, and rooted in actual respect—not patronizing. I believe you’re the expert on your own life. I’m here to help you untangle what’s not working, make room for what is, and figure out what comes next—without betraying who you actually are. You don’t need to have it all figured out to get started, and you don’t have to go it alone.
I’ve also worked with HIV-positive adults and people impacted by the criminal justice system. If you're looking for therapy that’s grounded, human, and has room for sarcasm, honesty, humor, and actual conversation—not just nodding and note-taking—I’d be glad to connect.
