Hi, my name is Andrew! I use he/him/his pronouns, am Gen X, and am a second generation Thai-American. I currently live and have raised my family here in Seattle, but was born and grew up in rural Washington. I work with individuals aged 13-65 each having wide ranges of life stories, experiences, and identities. I have extensive experience working with a broad range of symptoms and conditions including: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma/Post-Traumatic Stress, Grief and Loss, Life Transitions, Identity Formation and Transition, and Performance/Perfectionism.
Therapy can be an effective tool in helping individuals move towards healing and wellness. Therapy does not exclusively mean resolving childhood trauma. People also seek out therapy to examine and change unhelpful patterns, learn better survival skills, or find ways to live a life of intention and purpose.
Entering therapy can be daunting and is a brave step on the path to personal healing, wellness, and transformation. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment in which clients feel free to be creative, reflective, and courageous.
