Through studying interpersonal communication and conflict, I've learned about the complexities of relationships. As a therapist, I have specialized in fostering intimacy through vulnerability and self-awareness. In a safe space, my clients confront fears and discover their values. I use Gottman principles and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to transform relationship dynamics and resolve conflicts, including issues like unwanted pornography use. I also employ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and trauma-based Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Accelerate resolution therapy (ART) has been helpful for clients with past trauma. It uses slow approach eye movements to go back to traumatic events and process out the negative images and sensations through the mind and body. It is notably different from regular talk therapy because it does not require sharing the experience you want to process.
