My approach to treating OCD is very non-judgmental and gentle. I am here as a guide to help you figure out what works best for you. Your treatment is a collaborative effort for both of us. I wanted to become a therapist to help those who are hurting from various conditions and situations. I decided to specialize in OCD because it's an area of therapy that holds a special place in my heart. Having loved ones who have suffered from OCD, I've seen how disruptive it can truly be. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD.
Our understanding of the nuances of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. We have received training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD. When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues, depending on your preferences.
We’ll get to know you and create a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through messaging and a community of peers, ensuring you never feel alone. I am looking forward to supporting you and working together to tackle OCD.
