As a licensed clinical social worker, therapist, advocate, and mentor, I have a passion for working with adults, children, teens, and families. My particular passion is for social justice, to which I am committed to work with families in underserved populations, along with families that are in need of support. My Undergraduate and Master's experience at Delaware State University has afforded me the opportunity to work in various clinical and mental health settings as a School Social Worker, Outpatient Therapist, Admissions Counselor in a psychiatric facility, and Mobile Crisis Therapist for ten years.
In all these settings, I understand the importance and sensitivity when creating a safe place for diverse individuals and families, which is a prominent part of my work. I believe every individual has a purpose and, therefore, I am dedicated to supporting them as they reach their goals through various modalities.
I approach my work systemically, experientially, and collaboratively, such that I believe each person is an expert of their own life experiences, and it helps them achieve the most optimal solutions.
